Elon Musk Has Just Launched A Car Into Space With The World Most Powerful Rocket

– The tech genius has changed leapfrogged ahead in the space-race with a rocket twice as powerful as any of its rivals
– The rocket launched a car into space on a course for Mars, with David Bowie’s Space Oddity blaring from the speakers
– The launch hails a new era in space flight with the ability to launch larger payloads into space
Elon Musk has just done what many people thought was impossible, he successfully launched a car into space on a course for Mars.
The payload of this particular rocket is slightly unconventional, in order to demonstrate how effective his new Falcon heavy rocket is Elon Musk loaded a car on board.
The car in question is a midnight cherry red Tesla Roadster all the while blaring David Bowie’s Space Oddity while it travels through the cosmos
The destination for the rocket is Mars.
What makes Musk’s rocket unique besides the weight load it can carry over great distances is the fact that the booster rockets are reusable which cuts the expenditure enormously for the project.
Previous rockets had used disposable boosters which cost a fortune and were only able to be used once.
Footage of the car in space has been beamed back to earth and creates a surreal image that looks more like bad Photoshop joke than a real image. The car includes a driver named Starman, a dummy in a space suit, all buckled up and ready for an epic journey.
The car will eventually drift into solar orbit where it will quite possibly outlast humanity as it drifts through the vacuum of space.
What makes this launch important is that it means that in the near future heavier satellites can be launched, larger robots can be sent to Mars and enormous telescopes can be hurled into the heavens.
The feat of engineering was so impressive that US President Donald Trump congratulated Musk on his achievement. The two have an on an off again relationship, with Musk saying in 2016 that Trump wasn’t the ideal candidate for president.
Yet Musk attended Trump’s summit which was held in December of 2016. Musk served on the president’s business advisory councils but quit after Trump left the Paris climate agreement.
Meanwhile, Americans have once again voted Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton as the man and woman they admire most in the US in 2017, Gallup polls reveal.
NAIJ.com gathered that results for the poll are reportedly based on telephone interviews conducted from Monday, December 4 to Monday, December 11, 2017, with a random sample of 1,049 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
Gallup News reports that the pair has been Americans’ most admired man and woman for the past 10 years.
Obama edges out Donald Trump, 17% to 14%, while Clinton edges out Michelle Obama, 9% to 7%.
After Trump and Obama, the remainder of the top 10 list for men includes Pope Francis, Rev. Billy Graham (for a record 61st time), Sen. John McCain, Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk, Sen. Bernie Sanders, businessman and philanthropist Bill Gates, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and three men tied for 10th, Vice President Mike Pence, the Dalai Lama and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
